ABSTRACT
DEPARTMENT FOR WOMEN, CHILDREN, DISABLED AND SENIOR CITIZENS –
Re-organization of the posts of Second Grade Basic Training Teacher and Trained Graduate Teachers and also to upgrade fourteen (14) posts of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) as Post Graduate Teachers in the Residential Schools for Visually Handicapped and Hearing Handicapped, functioning under the control of the Department for the Welfare of Disabled and Senior Citizens – Orders – Issued.

ORDER:
The Department for Women, Children, Disabled & Senior Citizens has
informed that five Residential Schools for Visually Handicapped are functioning under the control of Disabled Welfare Department and proposed to re-organize the Second Grade Basic Training Teacher (SGBT) posts @ 4 for each school i.e., Hindupur, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Mahaboobnagar, Karimnagar and 3 posts at Vizianagaram. The Department has proposed to reorganize Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) posts in Visually Handicapped Schools with (6) TGTs in each of the schools at Hindupur, Visakhapatnam, Mahaboobnagar and Karimnagar and 2 posts in Vizianagaram.
The total 28 TGT posts sanctioned, 26 TGT posts will be reorganized and the
balance 2 TGT posts be upgraded as PGT posts. In this context, two PGT posts each at Hindupur, Mahaboobnagar and Karimnagar and one post each in
Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam schools is proposed. Thus the total PGT posts in VH Schools would be increased by 2 i.e., 8 instead of 6 posts.
2. Further, six Residential Schools for Hearing Handicapped are functioning
under the control of Disabled Welfare Department. The Department has proposed to re-organize the Hearing Handicapped Schools with (3) SGBT Teachers each in Bapatla, Hyderabad, Miryalaguda, Karimnagar and Ongole and (2) SGBT Teachers in Vizianagaram School. 12 TGT posts are sanctioned each in Bapatla and Miryalaguda Schools, 10 TGT posts in Hyderabad, NIL in Vizianagaram, 8 posts in Karimnagar and 6 posts in Ongole have been sanctioned. Thus a total of 48 TGT posts have been sanctioned. It is proposed to re-organize the posts in Hearing Handicapped Schools, with 6 TGTs each in 6 schools. The excess 12 TGT posts have proposed to be upgraded as PGT posts. Thus, the upgraded PGT posts i.e., (21) shall be re-organized @ of 4 each to HH Schools at Bapatla, Hyderabad, Miryalaguda, Karimnagar and Ongole and 1 PGT post in Vizianagaram schools.
3. Government, after careful examination of the proposal hereby accord
sanction for Re-organization of the posts of Second Grade Basic Training Teacher and Trained Graduate Teacher and also for upgrading of two posts of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTS) as Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) in the scale of  pay of Rs.16150-42590 in the Residential Schools for Visually Handicapped and for up-gradation of twelve Trained Graduate Teachers as Post Graduate Teachers in the scale of pay of Rs.16150-42590 in the Residential Schools for Hearing Handicapped functioning under the control of the Department for the Welfare of Disabled & Senior Citizens.
4. The Department for Women, Children, Disabled & Senior Citizens, shall
take necessary further action accordingly.
