ORDER:-
1. In
the G.O. first read above, the rules for grant of permission to B.Sc (Nursing)
private college were issued.
2. In
the G.O. second read above, Government have issued orders regarding
notification of admissions into General Nursing and Midwifery course for the
academic year 2006-07 and upgradation of Nursing Schools, clinical attachment,
enhancement of seats, admission of male candidates to Nursing course etc.
3. In
the G.O. third read above, Government have issued orders regarding admission
criteria into B.Sc.(Nursing) for the academic year 2006-07.
4. In
the G.O. fourth read above, Government have issued orders to follow the same
eligibility criteria and conditions as laid down in the G.O. third read above from the
academic year 2007-08 onwards, duly following the procedure as mentioned
therein.
5. In
the letter sixth read above, the Registrar, Dr.NTR University of Health
Sciences, Vijayawada has stated that the Secretary, Indian Nursing Council, New
Delhi vide reference fifth read above has informed that Indian Nursing Council
has resolved to amend the following eligibility criteria for admission into
B.Sc. (N) 4 YD Course program from the academic year 2013-14 onwards:-

B.Sc. (Nursing)
|
1. a) passed 2 years Intermediate (10+2)
or equivalent with Botany, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry and English.
b) Intermediate Voccational (Nursing or
MPHW).
c) Inter with Bridge course of Biological
and Physical Sciences.
|
1) The minimum age for admission shall be
17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is
sought.
|
2. The Candidates should have secured not
less than 45% of marks taken together in Botany, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry
and English 40% in case of SC, ST categories.
|
2. Minimum
Education:
a) 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB)
& English Core / English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks.
b) 10+2 passed out from recognized board
under AISSCE / CBSE / ICSE / SSCE / HSCE or other equivalent Board.

3. The Candidates should have completed 17
years should not have completed 35 years age as on 31-12-2012. For SC/ST candidates the upper age limit
relaxed by 3 years.

3. Student shall be medically fit.
4. Students appearing in 10+2 examination
in Science conducted by national Institute of open school.

4.The admission of Male candidates will be
as per the orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.306, HM&FW (K2) Dept., dt.1-8-2006

5. Students shall be admitted once in a
year.

He
has, therefore, requested the Govt. to issue the above revised amendments as
per the Regulations of the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi to existing
relevant Government orders from the academic year 2013-14 onwards at an early
date as the schedule for admission into B.Sc. (N) 4 YD course for the academic
year 2013-14 is commencing shortly.
The Government after careful
examination of the matter, hereby accept the proposal of the Registrar, Dr.NTR
University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada
and amend the existing
relevant Government orders regarding eligibility criteria for admission into
B.Sc (N) 4 YDC issued in the G.O’s first to fourth read above.
Accordingly the following
Notification shall be published in the next issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette
NOTIFICATION
In
exercise of the powers conferred under Section 99 of the Andhra Pradesh
Education Act, 1982 (Act 1 of 1982), the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby make
the following amendment to the existing eligibility criteria for admission into
B.Sc (N) 4 YDC issued in the G.O’s first to fourth read above.
