O R D E R:
In the G.O. 2nd read above,
orders were issued extending the term of office of the Office Bearers of Andhra
Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers’ Association for a period of 1 (One) month from
01-06-2013.
In
their representation 3rd read above, the President / General Secretary,
Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers’ Association have informed that they have
conducted their XVIII State Council at Vijayawada Vijayawada on 30-06-2013 and in that
process, filing of Nominations was completed on 22-06-2013 at Hyderabad
and after withdrawals there was a contest for certain posts and as such
elections were to be held on 30-06-2013 at Vijayawada
2. Government, after careful examination of
the matter and in exercise of the powers vested under Rule 5 of A.P. Civil
Services (Recognition of Service Associations) Rules, 2001 hereby extend the
term of Office of the Co-opted Office Bearers of Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers’
Association for a period of 6 (Six) months i.e. upto 31-12-2013 or till the
elections are completed which ever is earlier, in relaxation of the provisions
contained in Rule-3(5) of the aforesaid Rules.
3. The extension ordered in Para-2 above is
subject to the condition that the Office Bearers of the Association shall not
take any policy decision during the extended period and they are also directed
to conduct elections within the extended period.
