Special Duty (Industries Department), Govt. of A.P., as Escort Officer to the
project of M/s Bharat Electronics Limited at Machilipatnam, Krishna District –
Orders – Issued.

  In the letter read above, M/s Bharat Electronics Limited has informed
that their Machilipatnam Unit manufactures Image Intensifier Tube based Night
Vision Devices, Thermal Imager based Night Vision Systems, Tank Sights and
Day Sights. The Unit’s business is expected to grow exponentially in the coming
5 years.  Hence, BEL proposes to expand its operations and intends to set up
new Units in Machilipatnam.

2. Government after careful examination, hereby appoint Sri M. Sadhu
Sundar, Officer on Special Duty (Industries Department), as Escort Officer of
BEL project at Machilipatnam, Krishna District. The Escort Officer will liaison
with various Government Departments and assist in getting necessary
clearances and help BEL officials during the implementation of the project.
