O R D E R :
In the reference 1 st read above, Information Technology, Electronics
& Communications (Promotions) Department have issued orders
contemplating Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Policy 2014-2020. In
the reference 2 nd read above, the said Department have issued orders for
Andhra Pradesh Electronics Policy 2014-2020. In the reference 3 rd read above
orders have been issued for Andhra Pradesh Innovation & Startup Policy
2014-2020.
2. The Andhra Pradesh Innovation and Startup Policy 2014-2020 and other
Policies envisage creating a world class “technology start-up ecosystem” by
fostering “entrepreneurship and a culture of innovation” which contributes to
increased knowledge, wealth and employment in our society. Consequently
vide reference 4 th cited above (enclosed) the Government constituted a “Joint
Working Group” to study and implement the Human Resource Strategy
envisaged in the policies issued by Information Technology, Electronics &
Communications (Promotions) Department along with the representatives of
A.P. State Council of Higher Education, Industry, NASSCOM and Universities.
It is envisaged in the said G.O. that there should be a representative from
NASSCOM and [3] more members from Industry sector who are to be
nominated by the Government.
3. Accordingly, Government hereby nominate the following individuals to
the Joint Working Group constituted in the ref.4 read above:
1. Dr.Sandhya Chintala, Vice President, NASSCOM .. NASSCOM representative
2. Sri BVR Mohan Reddy, Chairman, Cyient Technologies .. Industry representative
3. Dr.Krishna Tanuku, Executive Director, ISB .. Industry representative
4. Srini Koppolu, Chairman, Hyderabad Angels .. Industry representative.
4. The Member-convener is requested to convene the first meeting of Joint
Working Group (JWG) at the earliest, so that the Committee shall study the
issues and make short term & medium term recommendations.
