O R D E R:
By virtue of bifurcation of the State, the State Government have constituted the
Andhra Pradesh State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the provisions
of Consumer Protection Act, 1986 in the G.O third read above. Under clause (a) of sub-
Section (1) of Section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986, the Government of
Andhra Pradesh in consultation with the Chief Justice of High Court of Judicature at
Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and for the State of Andhra Pradesh have
decided to appoint the Hon’ble Sri Justice Noushad Ali (retired Judge of High Court) as
President of the Andhra Pradesh State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission,
Hyderabad on full time basis. He will function as President of the Andhra Pradesh
State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission for a period of five (5) years from the
date on which he assumes charge or till he attains the age of 67 years, whichever is
earlier. He shall draw pay and allowances as per the orders issued in the G.O 1st read
above, and other perquisites as are admissible to the Judge of High Court in
accordance with the rules.
2. The Commissioner of Printing, Stationery and Stores Purchase, Andhra Pradesh,
Hyderabad shall publish and send 50 copies of the notification.
3. The Director of Translation, Hyderabad shall translate and furnish immediately the
Notification in the Regional Languages concerned to the Commissioner of Printing,
Stationery and Stores Purchase, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad.
4. The following notification will be published in the Extra-ordinary issue of the
Andhra Pradesh Gazette, Dated. 06.04.2015.
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred under clause (a) of Sub-Section (1) and
sub-Sec.(3) of section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986, the Government of
Andhra Pradesh in consultation with the Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at
Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh, hereby appoint
Hon’ble Sri Justice Noushad Ali (retired Judge of High Court) as President of the
Andhra Pradesh State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Hyderabad on full
time basis for a period of five (5) years from the date on which he assumes charge or till
he attains the age of 67 years, whichever is earlier
