ORDER:
The following notification shall be published in the Telangana State Gazette:
NOTIFICATION
The Government of India, Ministry of Urban Development has launched the
National Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana (HRIDAY) Scheme on
21.01.2015 with the aim of bringing together Urban Planning, Heritage conservation in
on inclusive manner covering 12 cities in the country and Warangal is one of the
identified and selected cities under this scheme. As per the guidelines for HRIDAY,
City Level Advisory and Monitoring Committee (CLAMC) for each city has to be notified
by the State Government from the stakeholders ranging from elected representatives/
officials from line departments /Institutions and representatives of NGOs.
2. In pursuance of the guidelines of HRIDAY, the Government hereby notify the City
Level Advisory and Monitoring Committee (CLAMC) for Warangal City with the following
composition.
1. Collector & District Magistrate, Warangal : Convener
2. Commissioner, GWMC : Co-convener
3. Mayor, GWMC : Member
4. MP/MLAs representing Warangal : Member
5. District Town Planner, Warangal : Member
6. District Tourism Officer, Warangal : Member
7. Representative from Electric the supply Department : Member
8. Mr.Paparao, IAS (Retd) Advisor to Telangana Government : Member
3. The role of the City Level Advisory and Monitoring Committee is as under:
􀂾 Provide a platform for exchange of ideas, and oversight of projects
􀂾 Oversee, review and monitor the performance of the scheme
􀂾 Provide an enabling framework by facilitating for coordination between
Centre, States and implementing agencies for implementation of the
projects
􀂾 Coordination with local committees and communities
􀂾 Recommend mid-course correction in the implementation tools.
4. Indian National Trust for Art and Culture Heritage is selected HRIDAY city
Anchor for Warangal City for the purpose of planning, advisory and supporting the City
Mission Director for successfully implementation of the scheme.
5. The Collector and District Magistrate, Warangal shall take further necessary
action.

ORDER:
The Confederation of India Industry is organising a International Conference on
“Smart Mobility for Smart Cities” on 15th October, 2015 at Pragathi Maidan, New Delhi and
this conference is being organised coinciding the 11th International Railway Equipment
Exhibition (IREE) and Urban Mass Transit Expo (UMTE), the flagship initiatives of CII. The
conference will aim to look at some of the latest developments in long-standing goals of
sustainable urban transportation systems, such as the integration of transport sub-systems
and role of mass transit systems in solving mobility issues for large and medium towns, as
well as investigate some of the most contemporary topics in urban transportation such as
new models of optimization of pars-transit and role of technology in improving public
transport systems. The conference is expected to be attended by thought Leaders from the
Government, key industry stakeholders and academia representing the transportation
segment. The Minister of state for Urban Development, Government of India would be the
Chief Guest for the inaugural the function.
2. The following officers of MA & UD Department are therefore deputed to attend the
above International Conference scheduled to be held on 15.10.2015 at Pragathi Maidan,
New Delhi.
1. V.Narendar Rao, Officer on Special Duty (Urban Policy and Global Hyderabad),
MA & UD Department.
2. S.Devendar Reddy, Chief City Planner, GHMC, Hyderabad; and
3. K.Anand Babu, Director of Town and Country Planning, Government of
Telangana, Hyderabad.
3. The above officers are requested to attend the International Conference on Smart
Mobility for smart Cities at New Delhi on 15.10.2015.
4. The T.A. and D.A. for the officers a Sl.No.1 and 2 shall be paid by GHMC while the
TA and DA to the officer at Sl.N.3 shall be paid from DTCP Budget provisions.
