Appointment of Additional Judges at the Karnataka High Court

Hon'ble Mr. Justice A.V.Chandrashekara

Hon'ble Mr. Justice A.V.Chandrashekara: Born on 30th May 1954. Enrolled as an Advocate on 25.01.1984 and practiced on Civil and Criminal side. Appointed as directly recruited District and Session Judge during May 1996 and served as Additional District and Session Judge, at Bangalore and Mangalore and as Prl. District and Sessions Judge, in Udupi, Kolar, Bangalore Rural and Mandya Districts of Karnataka State; worked as Member-Secretary, Karnataka State Legal Services Authority and Director of Karnataka Judicial Academy and Bangalore Mediation Centre. Sworn in as an Additional Judge of the High Court of Karnataka on 24.10.2013.

Appointment of Additional Judges at the Karnataka High Court 

In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Arakalagudu Venkataramaiah Chandrashekara to be an Additional Judge of the Karnataka High Court, with effect from 24th January, 2016 till 29th May,2016. 

In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Pradeep Dattatraya Waingankar to be an Additional Judge of the Karnataka High Court, with effect from 24th January, 2016 till 9th April, 2016.

In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (i) Smt. Rathnakala, (ii) Shri Budihal Rudrappa Bhimappa, and (iii) Shri Koratagere Narasimha Murthy Phaneendra to be Additional Judges of the Karnataka High Court, for a period of six months with effect from 24th January, 2016.
