Appointment of Chief
Justices at Different High Courts
In exercise
of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of
India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Dinesh Maheshwari,
Judge of the Allahabad High Court, to be the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya
High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Subhro Kamal Mukherjee, Judge of the Karnataka High Court, to be the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Vineet Saran, Judge of the Karnataka High Court, to be the Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.

Appointment of Judges at
Gauhati High Court
In
exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the
Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice
Nishitendu Chaudhury, Additional Judge of the Gauhati High Court, to be a Judge
of the Gauhati High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his
office; and
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (i) Shri Lanusungkum Jamir, and (ii)Shri Manash Ranjan Pathak, to be Additional Judges of the Gauhati High Court, with effect from 22nd February, 2016 till 21st May, 2016.
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (i) Shri Lanusungkum Jamir, and (ii)Shri Manash Ranjan Pathak, to be Additional Judges of the Gauhati High Court, with effect from 22nd February, 2016 till 21st May, 2016.
