Committee to appoint the Vice-Chancellor, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati

NOTIFICATION

          In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 11(1) of Andhra Pradesh Universities Act, 1991 (Act No.4 of 1991) and as amended subsequently, the State Government hereby Constitute a Search Committee consisting of three members as specified below, to submit a panel of three names to the Government in alphabetical order and the State Government shall forward the said panel to the Chancellor, who shall appoint the Vice-Chancellor, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati from out of the said panel:

1.      Prof. S.K.Joshi, FNA

Former Director General of CSIR,

Vikram Sarabhai Honorary Professor Distinguished

National scientist, National Physical Laboratory,

New Delhi.

            2.   Prof. A.M.Pathan, Vice Chancellor,

                  Central University of Karnataka,

                  Gulbarga University                      ………Nominee of U.G.C

           

   3.   Principal Secretary to Govt.,                ..                 

                  Higher Education Department

                  A.P. Secretariat, Hyderabad.  

                                       ...Nominee of the State Government.

2.       The Principal Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department, shall convene the Meeting of Search Committee at the earliest and submit a panel of three names to the Government.
