ORDER:-

In the reference 1st read above, Government have issued Administrative sanction for Construction of Social Welfare College Hostel Buildings at 100 locations at a cost of Rs. 2.20 Crores for building under SCSP 2013-14.

2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Commissioner of Social Welfare communicated the approved plan for construction of Social Welfare College hostels buildings (G+1) with a total built up area of 1651.69 Sqm (17772.14 Sft) (for accommodating 192 students ) to the Managing Director, APMSIDC, A.P. Hyderabad.

3. In the reference 3rd read above, the Managing Director, APMSIDC, A.P. Hyd. has stated that APMSICD has prepared a revised plan duly following the guide lines issued by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India for

construction of hostel buildings for OBC boys and girls.

Following are the salient features of the new plan prepared for Ground + 2 upper floors.

1) Area proposed in Ground floor : 986 Sqm (10609.36 Sft) (72 inmates)

2) Area proposed in First floor : 936 Sqm (10071.36 Sft) (84 inmates)

Total :1922 Sqm(20680.72Sft)(156 inmates)

3) Amenities provided:-

a. Ground Floor:-

i) 6 seater dormitory – 12 Nos. (72 inmates)

ii) Kitchen block - Accommodating Kitchen, dining, pantry, store, open wash area for utensils and hand wash.

iii) 4 bath rooms & 4 water closets each at 2 corners of the rear side of the building with space for clothes wash and an additional toilet for kitchen staff.

iv) Office room, Medical room, rooms for warden & computer / reading room.

b. First Floor:-

i) 6 seater dormitory – 14 Nos.(84 inmates)

ii) Common room and iii) Open terrace. Staircases are proposed in the middle of the building either side for easy

access.

4. Further, he informed that as per the revised plan the built –up area to be constructed is 20680.72 Sft which is 2908.58 Sft more than the originally approved plan and the extra financial implication will be about Rs.30.00 lakhs for each hostel building.

5. While stating the above, he has requested the Government to accord revised Administrative Sanction for Rs.250.00 lakhs against the original Administrative Sanction of Rs.220.00 lakhs and also communicate necessary approval for Revised Plan order at an earlier date.

6. The Govt. after careful examination of the above proposal of the MD and in the light of modification of Plan approval Government hereby accorded / issued revised Administrative Sanction for Rs.250.00lakhs against the original administrative

sanction of Rs.220.00 lakhs for construction of (100) College Hostel Buildings (Indiramma Vidya Nilayams) as mentioned in the reference 1st read above.

7. The Commissioner of Social Welfare, A.P., Hyd., shall take further necessary action and execute the construction of college Hostel Buildings in the time bound manner during the current financial year 2013-2014.
