Government
vide the reference first read
above have issued detailed instructions for Post-Matric
Scholarships which includes the administration of scholarships and the
procedure for
scholarships and also orders have been issued vide reference second read above for Reimbursement
of Fee to Pharmacy and Pharma-D Courses for 2012-13. This G.O shall be read
with the instructions contained in the references first to third read above.
2. The
Higher Education Department vide reference 2nd read above has notified fee for Under Graduate Pharmacy and Pharma-D courses in Private un-aided colleges in the State
of Andhra Pradesh for the block period 2013-14 to 2015-16. The fee notified and reimbursable for 2013-14
is as under:

3. The
Tuition Fee for each College for those students joining the Second Year in the Academic
Year 2013-14 and completing the course in the Academic Year 2015-16
is revised and recommended by the
Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC)
vide Annexure-III to the
references third read
above in respect of B. Pharmacy Courses.
4. The
subject of fee fixation by the AFRC has been discussed in the Meetings of the Group of Ministers. After
detailed discussions and deliberations on the implications of the fee
fixation consequent to the introduction of the uniform fee for the year 2013-14
in pursuance
of the orders of the Hon’ble High Court and Supreme Court, the Government hereby issues the
following Order:

Henceforth, the scholarship policy shall be delinked from fee fixation done by
the Higher
Education Department. Hereafter, the Government shall notify the scholarship
policy separately
which shall specify the quantum of fee to be reimbursed.
6. In
partial modification of para 4 I (ii) of reference first read above, the fee reimbursement for the year
2013-14 is as follows.
B. PHARMACY COURSES
(i) All students other than SCs and STs,
are eligible for a fee reimbursement of up to Rs.31,000/- in respect of B.PHARMACY
Courses for studying in any of the
colleges listed under Annexure II, III & IV as specified in G.O.Ms.No.62 Higher Education (EC/A2) Department, dated: 18-07-2013.
(ii) In respect of Colleges notified in Annexure-I to
G.O.Ms.No.62 Higher Education (EC/A2) Department, dated: 18-07-2013 an adhoc fee of
Rs.26,500/- to Rs.30,000/- has been notified and is likely to be revised on submission of documents to the AFRC. Pending the final fee to be notified by the
Government for these colleges in Annexure-I, the fee to be paid for all categories other than SC
& ST shall be the notified adhoc fee of Rs.26,500/- to Rs.30,000/-. In the event of
a final fixation of fee the maximum amount reimbursable shall not exceed Rs.31,000/- or the actual
fee notified whichever is less.
(iii) All eligible SC and ST students shall
be eligible for full tuition fee reimbursement regardless of the college of study as specified in the reference third read
above.
PHARMA-D COURSES
(i) All eligible students other than SCs and STs, are eligible for
a fee reimbursement of up
to Rs.68,000/- in respect of PHARMA-D Courses for
studying in any of the colleges listed under Annexure-II
& IV as specified in G.O.Ms.No.62 Higher Education (EC/A2) Department, dated 18-07-2013.
(ii) In respect of Colleges notified in Annexure-I to
G.O.Ms.No.62 Higher Education (EC/A2) Department, dated: 18-07-2013, an adhoc fee of
Rs.57,800/- has been notified and is likely to be revised on submission of documents to
the AFRC. Pending the final fee to be notified by the Government for these colleges
in Annexure-I, the fee to be paid for all categories other than SC & ST shall be the
notified adhoc fee of Rs.57,800/-. In the event of a final fixation of fee the maximum
amount reimbursable shall not exceed Rs.68,000/- or the actual fee notified whichever is less.
(iii) All eligible SC and ST students shall be eligible for full
tuition fee reimbursement regardless of the college of study as specified in the reference third read
above.
7. The administration of scholarships shall be administered online
at http://epass.cgg.gov.in. The Project Monitoring Unit shall ensure
that all the fee structures for colleges as specified in G.O.Ms.No.62 Higher Education (EC/A2)
Department, dated 18-07-2013 are updated on the ePASS website to enable processing
of scholarship claims for 2013-14. The Project Monitoring Unit shall confirm the validity of
the fees before releasing fee reimbursements to the college accounts through the e-PASS online
system.
8. The Commissioner of Social Welfare / Commissioner of Tribal
Welfare / Commissioner of B.C. Welfare / Commissioner of Minorities Welfare / Director of
Welfare of Disabled and Senior Citizens / VC & MD, Minorities Welfare, AP, Hyd. are
directed to take action accordingly.
9. The Commissioner of Social Welfare, AP,
Hyderabad / Project Monitoring Unit shall ensure that the fees reimbursable in respect
of Annexure-I Colleges under G.O.Ms.No.62, Higher Education (EC/A2) Department,
dated 18-07-2013 in respect of B. Pharmacy Courses shall be initially fixed at
Rs.26,500/-(for 7 colleges) and Rs.30,000/- (for 79
Colleges) and in respect Pharma-D courses at Rs.57,800/-. Based on the final fee to be notified by the
Higher Education Department, the differential fee if any shall be populated in the
ePASS and claimed separately and paid to the respective Colleges. Extreme care and
caution shall be taken in this matter so as to avoid any financial loss to the
Government. CGG shall make separate field entries for the differential claim
to be enabled to the PMU for incorporating the fees.
