HOLIDAYS – Declaration of Optional Holiday on 24.12.2013 (Tuesday), instead of 23.12.2013 (Monday), on account of Arbayeen (Chehallum) – Notification – Issued.

ORDER:

In the G.O. 1^st read above, Government have issued orders declaring 23.12.2013 (Monday) as Optional Holiday on the occasion of Arbayeen (Chehallum). The Chief Executive Officer, A.P. State Wakf Board, Hyderabad, in his letter 2^nd read above, has requested to declare the Optional Holiday on 24.12.2013 (Tuesday), instead of 23.12.2013 (Monday) on the occasion of Arbayeen (Chehallum), as per moon sight.

2) The Government, after careful consideration of the matter, decided to change the Optional Holiday from 23.12.2013 (Monday) to 24.12.2013 (Tuesday) on the occasion of Arbayeen (Chehallum). Accordingly, the following notification is issued and shall be published in the extra-ordinary Gazette of Andhra Pradesh:

NOTIFICATION

In partial modification of the orders issued, notifying the General Holidays and Optional Holidays, in G.O.Rt.No.5363, General Administration (Poll.A) Department, dated 22.11.2012, Government hereby declare that the Optional Holiday on the occasion of Arbayeen (Chehallum) shall now be observed on 24.12.2013 (Tuesday), instead of 23.12.2013 (Monday) declared earlier.
