O R D E R:
Under Section 28 (A) of the Representation of
the People Act, 1951 the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby designate the
following Police Officers in the State of Andhra Pradesh for purpose of Law
& Order and other duties connected with conduct of the ensuing Biennial Elections
to Andhra
Pradesh Legislative Council from 2 Teachers’ Constituencies in East Godavari,
West Godavari, Krishna, & Guntur districts scheduled to be held on 22.03.2015
(Monday).
i)
Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad.
ii)
Additional Director
General of Police (L&O), Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad.
iii)
Inspector General of Police, North Coastal Zone.
iv)
Inspector General of Police, Guntur Range, o/o DGP, AP, Hyderabad.
v)
Inspector General of Police, Andhra Region, o/o DGP, AP, Hyderabad.
vi)
Deputy Inspector General of Police, Eluru Range.
vii)
Superintendents of Police, Guntur (Urban) and Guntur (Rural).
viii)
Superintendents of Police, Kakinada & Rajahmundry (U).
ix)
Superintendents of Police, West Godavari & Krishna.
x)
Commissioner of Police, Vijayawada, Krishna district.

Deputy Commissioners of Police, Vijayawada.

Head Constables connected to Biennial Elections to AP Legislative Council in East Godavari, West Godavari,
Krishna, & Guntur districts;
iii)

Police Constables connected to Biennial Elections to AP Legislative
Council in East Godavari,
West Godavari, Krishna, & Guntur districts;
iv)
Any other
Police Officers serving for the time being in the Police Department, who are
involved in any way in election related arrangements or performing duties in
connection with conduct of Biennial Elections to Andhra Pradesh
Legislative Council from 2 Teachers’ Constituencies in East Godavari, West
Godavari, Krishna, & Guntur districts scheduled to be held on 22.03.2015 (Sunday).
2. The above officers are deemed
to be on deputation to the Election Commission of India from 19.02.2015
(Thursday) (Date of Notification) to 28.03.2015 (Saturday) (Date before which
election shall be completed) or the date of declaration of result of the said
election, whichever is earlier and accordingly, they shall, during that period,
be subject to the control, superintendence and discipline of the Election
Commission of India.
