ORDER:

            In the reference 2^nd read above, the Commissioner of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad has stated that the Principal, Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology, RVS Nagar, Tirupati Road, Chittoor has made the admissions under PIO quota for the academic year 2014-15 into various Diploma courses without Government orders. The Government have issued orders vide G.O.Rt.No.667, H.E (TE.II) Deptt., dt.22.08.2013 for conduct of admission of Foreign National / PIO / Children of Indian Workers in gulf Countries under 15% Supernumerary Quota in the Diploma Institutions, for the academic year 2014-15. Therefore, the admissions made by the Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering & Technology, RVS Nagar, Tirupathi Road, Chittoor is not approved and returned the same to the Institution.  Accordingly, the Government was requested to issue necessary orders for the academic year 2014-15, for conduct PIO admissions.  The Commissioner of Technical Education  has further stated that the Principals, Aditya Engineering College and Sri Sai Aditya Engineering College, Aditya Nagar, Surampalem, E.G. District have requested to issue G.O. to ratify the admissions made under PIO quota for the academic year 2014-15, as was issued for the academic year 2013-14.  The Commissioner of Technical Education has requested the Government to issue necessary orders to ratify the admissions made under PIO quota for the academic year 2014-15, as was issued for the academic year 2013-14.

                                            

2.        In the circumstances explained by the Commissioner of Technical Education in the reference 2^nd read above, after careful examination of the matter, Government hereby permit the Commissioner of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad to ratify the admissions made under PIO quota in the above said three Colleges for the academic year 2014-15 based on the guidelines issued in the reference 1^st read above.

3.         The Commissioner of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad is requested to take necessary action accordingly.
