ORDER:
As a part of IT initiatives in Public Finance Management, the Government issued orders in
GO 4th read above for development of a dynamic process for P.D Account administration and its
availability to all the stake holders from 09/06/2014. The process flow of the system with reference
to the respective stake holders was enumerated in those orders. Necessary Software titled
‘Personal Deposit Account Portal’ has been developed and integrated with the Andhra Pradesh
Treasury Portal /www.treasury.ap.gov.in/.
2. After its initial testing in the Andhra Pradesh State Head-Quarters Treasury, it was ordered
for a pilot run to test its functionality with reference to PD accounts of Urban and Rural Local
bodies, in Vizianagaram district. It was commenced in the last week of December, 2014 in District
Treasury and Head-Quarters Sub Treasury, Vizianagaram and is running satisfactorily.
3. Now, the Government after careful examination of these developments, consider to make
this software initiative available to all the stake holders of PD Accounts in the State by fully
integrating with the existing software applications of the treasury and accordingly order that all the
transactions of the PD accounts throughout the State shall be conducted through the PD Accounts
Portal application from 01/05/2015 onwards.
4. The Director of Treasuries and Accounts, Andhra Pradesh shall take action for ensuring
smooth transition to the new functionality by imparting necessary training to the stake holders
concerned and updating the data of all accounts. She shall also ensure that the new application is
fully integrated with the present IMPACT system with all required validations.
