ORDER :
 In the reference fifth read above, the Commissionner, Rural
Development, AP, Hyderabad has stated that, due to high levels of
temperature during the summer season the fatigue levels of the wage
seekers are increasing resulting in decreased work out turn and
decreased wage payments.

2. Considering the issues, with a view to protecting the wage rate
assured in the Act, Government vide references 1 to 4 read above
have allowed dry season allowances from February to June on all the
wage tasks of MGNREGS works.

3. The Commissioner, Rural Development, AP, Hyderabad in the
reference fifth read above has requested the Government to allow
dry season allowance on unskilled wage task under MGNREGS works
as sanctioned in last year from February to June.

4. Dry season allowance means that, the quantity of work to be
done to get the wages overall to that of normal season shall be
reduced by the percentage allowed as dry season allowance.

5. After careful examination of the issue, Government have
decided to allow dry seasonal allowance on unskilled wage tasks
under MGNREGS works with effect from February 2015 to 30th June

2015 is as given below.
a.February – 20%
b.March – 25%
c.April/May – 30%
d. June – 20%

6. The Commissioner, Rural Development and the District
Collectors / DPCs, MGNREGS shall take necessary action
accordingly.
