O R D E R:
In the 2 nd read above, the Commissioner of Labour, AP.,
Hyderabad while stating the circumstances has requested to permit
him to fill up all the Assistant Commissioner of Labour vacancies
meant for Direct Recruitment and also ACLs (SSS) under under AP.
Building & Other Construction Workers Board in the interest of the
public subject to following conditions.
a) That the vacancies of Assistant Commissioners of Labours
shall be filled subject to final orders of the Hon’ble High
Court of AP in WP No.36646 of 2013 and also subject to
the amendment and orders of the Government of India to
substitute the post of Labour Officer by the post of
Assistant Commissioner of Labour at Sl.No.48 in the 3 rd
Schedule of the Presidential Order.
b) That the vacancies meant for direct recruitment are to be
filled with a condition that the individuals promoted against
the Direct Recruitment vacancies shall be reverted as and
when the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission allot
the candidates.
c) The post of the Assistant Commissioner of Labour in the
Head Office which is to be treated as State Wide Post
according to the guidelines issued by the Govt., in Re-
Organization, the post if any vacant and earmarked for the
superintendents to be filled by them the same will be
reserved and filled as and when final allocation of posts is
decided by the Government and the ban imposed on
promotions in respect of state cadre posts is relaxed by the
Government.
2. further, in his letter 3 rd above, the Commissioner of Labour,
while reporting the circumstances has requested to accord necessary
permission after re-examining the proposals already submitted in his
Letter dated: 13.09.2014, for filling up the vacancies of Assistant
Commissioners of Labour on ad-hoc basis subject to the out come of
final orders of the Hon’ble High Court in the interest of public.
3. After examination of the proposals, the Government is hereby
permit the Commissioner of Labour, AP, Hyderabad to fill-up the large
number of vacant posts of Assistant Commissioners of Labour existing
across the State in public interest on Ad-hoc basis subject to
conditions mentioned at para (1) above, for smooth functioning and
speed up implementation of the Welfare Schemes to the workers.
