ORDER:
In the reference 3rd read above, the Director General of Police, A.P., Hyderabad,
has informed that a revised seniority list of Deputy Superintendents of Police (AR) as on
1.9.2011 has been prepared and communicated to the individuals to submit their
objections. In reply (23) affected parties have submitted their objections. Sri K.Praveen
Kumar, R.I. (AR) belongs to 1985 batch RSI. His name was not included in the panel of
Deputy Superintendents of Police (AR) for the year 2009-2010, due to pending OEs.
Later, on completion of OEs, he was awarded punishments of PPI and RTSP. The said
punishments were set-aside subsequently. Consequent on setting aside of the
punishments his case was reviewed, and assigned notional date of seniority in the cadre
of D.S.P.(AR).The Government vide Memo. No.13791/Ser.I/A3/2013-2, dated:4.11.2013,
Home (Ser.I) Department, has clarified that the notional date shall be treated for all
purposes, including consideration of his name for the next promotion to the post of Addl.
S.P. (AR), on par with his juniors for the panel year 2011-2012. Accordingly, proposals
was sent to the Government vide his office letter Rc.No.1221/G5/2011, dated:10.4.2013,
for inclusion of his name in the panel of Deputy Superintendents of Police (AR) fit to act
as Addl. S.P. (AR) for the panel year 2011-2012. Further, due to revision of seniority in
the rank of R.I. (AR), the name of Sri K.Suri Babu, D.S.P. (AR) was placed above the
names of S/Sri T.Pulender Reddy and K.Narasimha, in the cadre of R.I. (AR).
Accordingly, his name was been placed above their names in the seniority list of Deputy
Superintendents of Police (AR).

2. The Director General of Police, A.P., Hyderabad, while enclosing the seniority list
of the Deputy Superintendents of Police (AR) has requested the Government to publish
the final seniority list, which includes notional dates of seniority, duly disposing the
objections of affected parties.

3. The Government after careful examination of the matter, in consultation with the
Government of Telangana, hereby dispose the objections of the members as at
Annexure-I and hereby approve the State-wide Combined final seniority list of Deputy
Superintendents of Police (AR) as at Annexrue-II appended to this order, subject to
outcome of O.As.,/W.Ps.,/SLPs., if any, pending before the Hon’ble Courts. The revised
notional dates assigned to the Deputy Superintendents of Police (AR) is only to consider
their cases for higher promotions.

4. The Director General of Police, A.P., Hyderabad, shall take necessary follow up
action in the matter.
