ORDER:
In the reference read above, the Secretary
(Security), Cabinet Secretariat, GoI has informed that as per para2.2 of
CMP-2014 of Government of India, all State Governments must have a State Crisis
Management Committee under the Chief Secretary, with Secretaries and Heads of
concerned Departments/Organizations as members.
2. Government,
after careful examination of the matter, hereby constitute State Crisis
Management Committee (SCMC) with the following officers:
1.The Chief Secretary to
Government, (Chairman)
2.The Special Chief
Secretary to Government, Finance Department
3.The Principal Secretary
to Government, PR & RD (RWS) Department
4.The Principal Secretary
to Government, MA & UD Department
5.The Secretary to Government, Agriculture &
Co-operation Department
6.The Commissioner for Disaster Management &
Ex-Officio Principal Secretary to
Government - (Convener)
3. The above Committee would be activated in the event of crisis requiring the involvement of many
Departments or having state level implications.
4.
The State Crisis Management Committee (SCMC) shall give directions and
guidance to the concerned Departments in dealing with a crisis situation as and
when necessary.
5.
The State Crisis Management Committee (SCMC) may issue such advisories
to all the Departments and Districts as might be deemed necessary for effective
crisis management. These may be short or
long term actions and activities, including capacity building, to manage any
crisis or to supplement or complement the efforts of the State Government or
any District Administration.

the reference read above, the Secretary (Security), Cabinet Secretariat, GoI

the chairmanship of District Magistrate/District Collector.

the matter, hereby constitute the
District Crisis Management Committee (DCMC) with the following officers:
1. The District Collector, Chairman
2. The Superintendent of Police/Commissioner of Police
3. The District Panchayat Officer
4. The Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad
5. The Joint Director, Agriculture Department
6. The Superintendent Engineer, Rural Water Supply
3. The
above Committee would be activated in the event of crisis requiring
the involvement of many Departments or having district level implications.
4. The District
Crisis Management Committee (DCMC) shall give
directions and guidance to the concerned Departments in dealing with a crisis
situation as and when necessary.
5. The District Collectors are requested to
take necessary action in the matter.
