          In the reference 1stread above, orders were issued for consolidated terms and
conditions of deputation on Foreign Service terms and conditions for general
applicability of the cases.

2. In the reference2nd read above, Government had introduced the National
Pension Scheme (NPS) i.e. Contributory Pension Scheme to the State Government
employees of Andhra Pradesh who were appointed on or after 01.09.2004. In the NPS
System each employee shall pay a monthly contribution of 10 % of Basic pay and
Dearness Allowance from the salary and correspondingly, the Government of Andhra
Pradesh will contribute an equal amount as its share.

3. The Director of Treasuries and Accounts, A.P. Hyderabad has brought to the
notice of the Government that the deductions in terms of National Pension Scheme
(NPS) in respect of the employees who are on deputation on Foreign Service terms and
conditions, are not being done.

4. Accordingly Govt., in the reference 3rd read above, orders were issued regarding
to follow the procedure for uploading the Contributions of the Government servants,
who come under National Pension Scheme (NPS) and who are working on deputation
on Foreign Service terms and conditions, with a direction to amend the Andhra
Pradesh Fundamental Rules separately.

5. Government after careful examination in the matter, hereby order that the
contributions towards National Pension Scheme (NPS) (10 % of Basic pay + DA) in
respect of the Government employees who are working on deputation on Foreign
Service terms and conditions, shall be paid by the respective Foreign Employer only.
