ORDER:-


          In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have accorded permission for preparation of temporary panel of Deputy Superintendents of Police (Civil), otherwise fit for promotion as Additional Superintendents of Police (NC), excepting for not having completed five years of minimum service, for making promotions on adhoc basis for the panel year 2010-2011, under rule 10 (a) of A.P. State & Subordinate Service Rules, 1996 read with instructions issued in Govt. Memo. No.53975/Ser.D/2000-3, General Administration (Ser-D) Department, dated 9.1.2001, subject to condition that the commencement of probation in the promoted post will be only after completion of minimum service in the feeder category, and subject to review on preparation of final seniority list of Deputy Superintendents  of Police  (Civil), in view of non-availability of valid seniority list  

2.   In the G.O.3rd  read above, the Government approved the panel of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Civil) fit for adhoc/temporary promotion as Addl. Superintendents of Police (NC) for the panel year 2011-2012, subject to directions, outcome of the O.As/W.Ps/W.As/R.Ps/C.As./SLPs, etc. pending, if any, before the Tribunal/Courts etc.,

3.   The Government in terms of Rule-10 (a) of A.P. State & Subordinate Service Rules, 1996, hereby temporarily promote the following sixty three (63) Deputy Superintendents of Police (Civil) included in the panel, as Addl. Superintendents of Police (NC), with immediate effect, subject to condition that the commencement of probation in the promoted post will be only after completion of minimum service in the feeder category, as mentioned in the G.O. 1st read above:

5.   The promotions ordered in para (3) above is purely temporary and are liable to be reverted to the lower post at any time without assigning any reason therefore and they are subject to directions/outcome of O.As/W.Ps/W.As/RPs/CAs etc., pending, if any, before the Tribunal and Courts.

6.   The Officers promoted in para-3 above shall join in the promotional posts within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of the orders of promotion.  If, they fail to join the new posts within the said time limit or evade to join the posts by proceeding on leave, they shall forfeit their right of appointment both for the present and in future for their promotion posts.
