1. Council of Ministers held on 30-1-2015 at 2-00 PM, vide Council

Resolution No.100/2015.

2. From the G.A.(Cabinet) Department, U.No.100/2015, dt.3-2-2015.

3. U.O.No.628, TR&B(Buildings) Dept., dt.10-3-2015

ORDER:

In the reference 1st read above, it has been resolved in the 11th meeting

of Council of Ministers held on 31-1-2015 to construct a New Secretariat Building

Complex” in the lands of existing Government General & Chest Hospital,

Ayurvedic Hospital, Institute of Family Welfare & Drugs Control Administration

consisting around (72) acres to accommodate the entire Secretariat staff and the

Heads of Departments (HoDs). An amount of Rs.150.00 Crores is sanctioned for

construction of office buildings excluding the other amenities.

2. In the reference 3rd read above, the Transport, Roads & Buildings

(Buildings) Department have requested the General Administration Department

to constitute a Committee with the following Senior Officers to decide and

finalize the following issues :

1. Principal Secretary to Govt. (Poll.) - Chairman

2. Principal Secretary to Govt., MA&UD - Member

3. Principal Secretary, Revenue Dept. - Member

4. Secretary to Govt., TR&B Dept., - Member & Convener

5. Secretary to Govt., Finance Dept. - Member

I. Construction of New Secretariat Building Complex:

(1) Cadre strength of each Administrative Department of

Secretariat;

(2) Cadre strength of each HoD

(3) To identify the HoD to be accommodated in the new Secretariat

(4) Space required for the Hon’ble C.M. & C.M.O.

(5) Space required for each Minister and concerned Administrative Dept., and HoD

(6) To decide plan / Design etc.,

(7) Alienation of land in favour of G.A.D.

(8) Any other issues related to the construction of the New Secretariat Building

II. Construction of Hon’ble Chief Minister’s Residence:

(1) Dismantling of existing quarters;

(2) To decide Plan / Design etc.,

(3) To decide total area plinth area;

(4) Any other issues related to the construction of the Chief Minister’s Residence.

III. Construction of quarters for All India Service Officers in the

Premises of Govt. Mental Hospital, Erragadda, Hyderabad.

(1) To decide No. of independent houses to be constructed

(2) To decide Plan / Design of the quarters

(3) To decide plinth area for each quarter / house

(4) Any other issues related to the constructions of quarters for AIS officers.

3. After careful examination of the matter, Government hereby constitute a

Committee with the following senior officers to decide and finalize the issues as

stated at para-2 above.

1. Principal Secretary to Govt. (Poll.) - Chairman

2. Principal Secretary to Govt., MA&UD - Member

3. Principal Secretary, Revenue Dept. - Member

4. Secretary to Govt., TR&B Dept., - Member & Convener

5. Secretary to Govt., Finance Dept. - Member

4. The Transport, Roads & Buildings Department shall take necessary action

in the matter accordingly.
