4.   From the Member Secy., MERIT, Hyd., Lr.No.1/MERIT/2016-1,

   Dt.02.02.2016.

O R D E R:

          In the reference first read above, consequent of re-organisation of the State of Andhra Pradesh, this Department has requested to nominate a representative of the Finance Department for the autonomous Trust constituted with the Principal Secretary/Secretary to Government,  Industries & Commerce  Department as Chairman and other members consisting from National and State Organizations including representative of Finance Department of  Govt. of A.P for managing and operating the funds of DMRTUF, for the residual State of A.P.

2.       Accordingly, in the G.O. second read above, the Finance Department nominated Principal Secretary to Government (R&E), Finance Department as Member of the DMRTUF trust.

3.       In the G.O. third read above, Government issued orders rechristening the name of DMRTUF trust as MERIT consisting the Governing body with the following:

i.     Minister of Mines and Geology (Chairperson)

ii.    Secretary of Mines and Geology

iii.   Director of Mines and Geology

iv.  VC & MD, M/s APMDC Ltd.

v.    All Joint Directors from Department of Mines and Geology

vi.  Special invitees having experience in the relevant field to be invited by Chairperson of the Governing Body.

4.       In the reference fourth read above, Member Secretary, MERIT, Hyderabad  has requested to issue necessary orders for including the Secretary to Government (R&E), Finance Department as member of governing body of the MERIT (erstwhile DMRTUF Trust).

5.       After careful examination of the matter, Government hereby decided to take the same officer i.e, the Secretary to Government (R&E), Finance Department as member of governing body of the MERIT (erstwhile DMRTUF Trust), mentioned at 4 (b) of the G.O 3^rd read above, since name of DMRTUF is changed as MERIT.

5.       The Director of Mines & Geology, AP, Hyderabad shall take necessary further action accordingly in the matter.
